Woodward's Fuel Metering Unit Platform is a scalable design that utilizes common components, allowing for customized designs, while reducing development lead times. It consists of four control families with thrust levels ranging from 10,000 to over 100,000 pounds. Engines under 10,000 pounds thrust usually have less complex system requirements, which allows for lower cost controls. Woodward has developed several control systems that meet a range of system requirements at the lowest possible cost.
