Woodward’s proven ignition lead designs have demonstrated performance and reliability on leads ranging from 3’ to 30’. While ignition leads may be overlooked as a simple cable, the overall system reliability can be negatively impacted by poorly designed internal cable or external connector configurations.
Ignition leads comprise a key component in the ignition system to make certain that the exciter energy is efficiently and reliably transferred to the igniters. Woodward designs the connectors and internal materials to maximize start reliability and eliminate costly field maintenance.
