Woodward manufactures, sells or supports products throughout the world. The
company's products are used in two major markets:
Woodward designs, manufactures, and markets aircraft engine fuel delivery
systems, as well as subsystems and components. This includes fuel metering
systems that regulate the flow; high-precision fuel injection nozzles (also
for industrial gas turbines); specialty valves; servovalves; actuators; pumps;
and propeller controls.
Woodward serves original equipment manufacturers
by designing and manufacturing controls for diesel and natural gas engines, and
gas and steam turbines. Woodward's products measure, regulate, and
optimize the volume and mix of fuel and air, which, in turn, influence power
output, efficiency, and emissions.
