FireFly™ Detonation Detection

Engine knock is a significant consideration with today's low-emission, high-efficiency engines. The Woodward FireFly™ control detects knock and adjusts ignition timing to compensate, thus protecting your gas engine and improving efficiency. Using knock sensors placed on the engine block, the FireFly™ control can analyze each cylinder separately, and can adjust timing and/or load for individual cylinders.
