High-pressure, electronically-controlled fuel injection systems for high- and medium-speed diesel engines 

Woodward’s electronic fuel injection systems meet the primary challenges of existing and future engine design--improve engine performance and durability and meet mandated emissions targets. 

Our EFI systems are designed for industrial (non-automotive) engines that operate on many fuel types and grades, including heavy fuel oil. Key considerations related to extended lifetimes and times between services are built into the robust designs, which include both the unit pump-pipe-injector type system (EUP) and the electronic unit injector (EUI) type system.
