Woodward Dual-Fuel Control Systems

Woodward dual-fuel engine control systems are capable of controlling all types of dual-fuel engines, including where part of the diesel is substituted by gas. The gas admission to the engine is by fumigation at the combustion air inlet. Dual-fuel fumigation technology enables utilization of gaseous fuel when this is more cost-effective than diesel without losing engine power, availability, and reliability.

Woodward dual-fuel control systems control the engine speed, load, air-fuel ratio, and fuel transfer between diesel and gas mode and back to diesel. Woodward dual-fuel controls systems are essential to control the dual-fuel engine during fast transients between the operating modes.
