Woodward Smart Grid integrates multiple energy sources into one grid

Woodward offers the integration of existing power generation modules into one grid. Making it smart means that the energy flow to consumers is controlled and optimized to ensure lowest (possible) environmental impact. A Smart Grid transforms a today’s grid into a virtual power plant, with a combination of distributed energy resources like wind and solar; and classical peak load power stations with support of appropriate energy storages.
