Product Training in the United States

Woodward offers theoretical and practical training on many Woodward products.

CLASS TYPES
Two types of classes are available to meet your training needs:

1. Custom Training Courses
   Custom training for specific controls, applications, and products can be performed on most controls manufactured by Woodward. The on-demand custom training can be delivered at Woodward or at a customer's site. To request custom training, please complete the attached Request for Custom Training Worksheet and email it to the . We will review your request and confirm whether we can do the training for you, as well as send a formal quote for training.
   
   
2. Standard Courses
   Standard classes cover a combination of Woodward controls as used in practical situations. In these courses, Woodward controls are explained with the background of a particular application. The listed training courses are based on a careful selection of all Woodward products and are meant to be beneficial to a wide range of customers.

STANDARD TRAINING CLASS INFORMATION

Registration
Standard Woodward training classes are held at two locations: at Woodward in Fort Collins, Colorado, and at Governor Control Systems in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. To register for any of the standard Woodward training classes, please complete the Standard Training Registration Form, and email it either to the or the . Registration should be made at least two weeks before the start of the course (please, no drop-in registrations). All class confirmations will be sent out about 2 weeks prior to the course and only when we have received all required information. Enrollment
Class size of the scheduled courses is limited to provide students with better opportunities for learning and hands-on experience. To complement a class, visual aids, handouts, and publications are used. Attendees may keep the training material provided during the class. Woodward can typically provide most equipment and material for training classes (with the exception of some unique or old product training classes). Please register early to ensure availability. The courses will continue when at least three students have registered and paid for a single course.

Colorado Class Hours
All classes are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. (08:00) through 3:30 p.m. (15:30).

Cost
Our class rates do not include accommodations or transportation. Lunch and refreshments (morning & afternoon) will be provided.

Terms of Payment for Colorado Classes
Woodward must receive payment 30 days prior to the first day of class. Woodward's general terms and conditions will be applicable. Woodward will ONLY accept Purchase Orders issued by established customers. For all other participants, payment options consist of the following: credit card (Visa or Mastercard), check, money order or wire transfer. To ensure that your payment is allocated properly, please include the following information along with your payment: Attention: Woodward Customer Training Department; Name of Company; Name of Contact; Name(s) of Attendee(s) and Class Name & Dates.

Cancellation
For training given by Woodward Industrial Controls in Fort Collins, you may cancel up to four weeks before the first day of your training class without cancellation charge. Cancellation within the four weeks before the first day of class results in a cancellation fee schedule as follows:

• Within 4 weeks, a cancellation fee of 25% of the cost of the class is charged.
• Within 3 weeks, a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the class is charged.
• Within 2 weeks, a cancellation fee of 75% of the cost of the class is charged.
• Within 1 week, a cancellation fee of 100% of the cost of the class is charged.

You may substitute people at no additional charge. Please notify the Training Coordinator if the name of the class attendee changes.

Woodward reserves the right to cancel any scheduled class. A full refund and adequate notification will be provided to those already signed up.

Colorado Accommodations
We recommend that you make your own hotel and rental car reservations. Use our List of Recommended Hotels Form to help you make your reservations. Contact us if you need assistance.

Florida Accommodations
