UG=25+ Governor
The UG-25+ governor is a microprocessor-controlled, mechanical-hydraulic amplified governor for controlling steam turbines. The UG-25+ offers enhanced control capabilities, with a self-contained oil system that requires no turbine oil to operate.
Control features:
- State-of-the-art speed sensing and control algorithms
- Enhanced PID dynamics allowing variable dynamics for changing steam conditions
- Configurable speed settings and adjustment rates
- Comprehensive diagnostics for easy troubleshooting
- End-of-line programmability simplifies inventory
The UG-25+ combines all the advantages of a traditional mechanical governor with the state-of-the-art control algorithms for optimal steam turbine operation. Learn more from UG-25+ product spec 03339.
TG Governor
The TG Governors are self-contained mechanical-hydraulic speed droop governors for use on small steam turbines where isochronous (constant speed) operation is not required. Learn more from TG Governor product spec 04038.
PG Dial & Lever Governors
All PG governors have internal pressure compensation of the control dynamics, providing greater stability during fast load changes. PG governors feature dial or lever speed adjustment, a spring-driven, oil-damped ballhead which filters frequency torsional vibrations, an optional speed adjusting motor, electric, oil, water, or pneumatic shutdown, optional droop, and have a wide speed range available.
PG-PL Governor
The PG-PL governor features isochronous control, 12 to 58 ft-lb output capacities, remote power servos, pneumatic or manual speed setting, rotary or linear output, various mounting configurations, a self-contained sump, and is pressure compensated. Learn more from PG-PL product spec 36700.
