Woodward is a world leader in defense vehicle control systems and components. Our Cadillac Gage® systems are known the world over for main battle tank and fighting vehicle gun and turret controls.

The U.S. M1 series of main battle tanks, one of the best main battle tanks in the world, incorporates Woodward’s Cadillac Gage® integrated turret drive, gun control and stabilization system. Our SCUL™ RWS (Remote Weapon Station) was developed for armored, tactical, and logistics vehicle applications, and was selected by the U.S. Marine Corps for its M1A2 ILWS (Integrated Loader’s Weapon Station) requirement.

Our SmartDefense™ capabilities include a broad line of defense vehicle actuation and control products for discrete component and system level applications, including:
