Annual maintenance plan

The maintenance plan provides licenses for the current MotoHawk version and the next release including all the service packs for those versions. Each new MotoHawk and MotoTune kit will now include a licensed dongle, including maintenance upgrades and support for the current MotoHawk version and the next release. License is per dongle.

How do I Update my MotoHawk License?

A MotoHawk maintanance purchase is needed to update your Motohawk license. If you have purchased a Motohawk maintanance update, you can get your license updated by a quick and simple email transaction. Use the License Update tool to create a license .tkf file. Email this .tkf file to MCSlicense@woodward.com. We will then email an activation file (.acf) back to you that can be uploaded using the same License Update tool.
 
Hint: Be sure to include your Woodward Sales Order number with your email. The sales number for online purchases is located in My Account, under Order History. A valid Woodward sales order is required for license maintenance updates. 
 
 
Why might you want updates and support?
 
We are enhancing the MotoHawk build engine to only use the ControlCore features and functions your application needs. Your application can grow without the need to upgrade to a larger ECU. Support for S12/S12x may allow your application to run on a lower cost module. Support for other platforms allows the use of MotoHawk on Freescale’s latest and most powerful microprocessors. Enhanced validation and compatibility testing helps assure your application can easily migrate from ECU to ECU. If you’re planning to keep up-to-date with The MathWorks latest version, consider budgeting annually to retain access to the latest MotoHawk versions. 
 
Individuals with a MotoHawk license which is considered "in-maintenance" are entitled to free email support via the email support forum at MCSSupport@woodward.com.
