ToolKit

9927-1226_ER.exe

ToolKit is a Windows® desktop program that supports the rapid development and hosting of user-friendly interface tools for Woodward electronic products. Interface tools can be created for many different functions such as service, configuration, commissioning, calibration, testing or operation. These interfaces allow viewing/editing of control values using many different visual components such as text boxes, gauges, bar charts, trend charts, etc.

ToolKit is designed specifically to interface with Woodward products including programmable (GAP™ / MotoHawk) and non-programmable controls. It supports communications via RS-232/-422/-485 serial, CAN, or Ethernet TCP/IP networks.

ToolKit is ideal for Woodward electronic product users that need cost-effective and easy-to-use software interface tools or operator control panels.

Feature Highlights

Improved Settings File Association

The settings file association wizard has been replaced with a single window. You can simply select the settings file and new target SID in the same window and click the Associate button. Differences are displayed in the window and now the resulting settings will be displayed at the bottom of the window. The resulting settings represent all of the settings that will be stored in the .wset file when you click the Save button.

Watch the video tutorial, Associating a Settings File for more information.

Compare a Settings File Against the App Defaults

The association window now shows settings that differ from the application default values as well as any name differences. You can still map name differences to the new resulting settings file but now you can easily use application defaults values as desired.

Large Tool File Opening Times are Greatly Reduced

The binary tool file format has been changed to use Json.  This has changed the tool file size, but it has made tool file opening much faster.

View the Settings in the Generic Settings Editor using a Tree

The generic settings editor has been changed from a list view to a tree view to make navigating the file easier.

Watch the video tutorial, Creating and Editing Settings Files for more information.

Search in Generic Settings Editor

Search has been added back in to the generic settings editor.

Load a Settings File to the Device Directly from the Generic Settings Editor

Users can now load a settings file that is open in the generic settings editor by selecting the ‘Load to Device’ ribbon button in the editor.

Select a Settings File from the MRU Settings List when Working With Settings Files

Users can now select from the settings most recently used list when loading, saving, editing, reassociating or comparing settings files.

Automatically Open a Settings File in a Settings Editor after Saving it from a Device

When a settings file is saved from the device, the user is prompted if they want to open the file in a settings editor.
