Eileen Paterson is a dynamic leader with extensive practical and strategic knowledge of aerospace and defense industries, as well as supply chain management and quality control. She serves as chair of the Board’s Nominating & Governance Committee, and is a member of the Human Capital & Compensation and Executive Committees.
From 2015 to 2023, Eileen served as CEO of Aerojet Rocketdyne, a specialized manufacturer of propulsion, energetics, missile defense, and strategic and tactical systems. Previously she held various senior leadership positions within United Technologies Corporation (“UTC”), including President of Pratt & Whitney’s auxiliary power unit and small turbojet propulsion business. Prior to UTC, Eileen held various leadership roles at the Ford Motor Company and Visteon Corporation.
Eileen also serves on the boards of Constellation Energy Corporation and Marathon Petroleum Corporation. She is a U.S. Army veteran and served for seven years as an active-duty aviator, including as Airfield Commander of Davison Army Airfield in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Eileen is a military graduate of the U.S. Army Aviation Officer School. She holds an honorary Doctorate in Science from the University of Alabama at Huntsville, a Master of Business Administration from Butler University, and a Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Rochelle.
