Gregg Sengstack is a seasoned industrials executive who brings over 36 years of experience in global leadership and considerable finance expertise to the Woodward Board. Gregg serves as the Board’s Lead Director, and is a member of the Board’s Audit Committee and Executive Committee.
Gregg is a detail-oriented leader proficient in financial management and international global market development. From 2014 to 2024 he served as CEO of Franklin Electric, a global leader in the production of water and energy systems and components. Over his 36-year tenure at Franklin Electric, Gregg spearheaded multiple domestic and international acquisitions, expanded the energy systems business, and extended the company’s portfolio into adjacent water treatment markets.
Gregg also serves on the boards of Allegion plc and Franklin Electric. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and Bachelor’s degrees in Math and Economics from Bucknell University.
