Karrie Bem is Woodward’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer. With extensive expertise in legal and compliance matters, Bem is responsible for leading the company’s legal and compliance function, including developing and maintaining programs for legal, ethics, and compliance matters, contracts and negotiations, labor and employment, trade compliance, and intellectual property. Prior to joining Woodward, Bem served in various executive roles at Lockheed Martin and United Launch Alliance, LLC. She is also an active member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, serving as a Colonel with over 24 years of service as an Air Force Contracting Officer. Bem holds a Bachelor’s degree in social science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an MBA from Webster University, and a J.D. from the University of Denver.
