Supplier Quality Engineer, Emilee, is thriving in the growth mindset environment she finds at Woodward. “Working at Woodward has been such an incredible and formative experience,” said Emilee, who has worked here for three years. “I didn’t expect to stay here for very long, let alone thrive in the ways that I have been able to; I attribute that to the outstanding and compassionate leaders that I have had in my time here.”
Before taking on her current role, she started as a Mechanical Assembler, became Team Lead, and found strong backing when she needed to shift to weekends to complete her college degree. “Everyone was very supportive of it and really paved a path for me to make that happen,” she said. “It shows that we have fostered a culture of continued growth – both personal and professional. Thanks to this environment, I’ve managed to step into a role that is drastically different from what I did before. I’ve been able to flourish here.”
She encourages others to consider applying at Woodward. “There are so many different jobs you can do; you can use your capabilities and learn new skills,” she said. “And I will never stop talking about the benefits that Woodward offers because they are just second to none.”
It all comes down to Woodward members for Emilee. “Honestly, I think the reason why I love Woodward so much is because of the people,” she said. “I think the people are so encouraging and everybody seems to want to work together on a team.”
