IC 900 Series (IC-9XX) Service Tool J (10.02)

The IC 900 Series Service Tool is used to configure, adjust, monitor and troubleshoot an IC 900 Series Control. The service tool runs on a personal computer and communicates with the IC 900 Series Control through a serial connection. The following firmware versions are supported:

  • 5418-1898 NEW
  • 5418-1898 A
  • 5418-1898 B
  • TIS-910 170007 Rev B
  • TIS-910 170007 Rev C
  • 5418-2639 NEW
  • 5418-2639 A
  • 5418-2639 B

    • System Requirements:

    • Microsoft Windows®  11, 10, 8.1, 7.
    • Java: Azul Zulu JRE 8.82.0.21 (8u432), 32-bit.
    • 1 GHz or faster x64 processor
    • 4 GB of RAM
    • Minimum 1280 by 900 pixel screen resolution
    • PC or Laptop with Serial or USB port.  If a USB port is used a USB to serial adaptor is required.  The adaptor should be of good quality that fully complies with the RS232 standard.
    • 9 pin-D straight through Serial Cable (not a null modem cable)
    Service Tool requires that the Java Azul Zulu JRE be installed. The Service Tool installation will attempt to install the Java Azul Zulu JRE; but you can also obtain it from the link below.

    Installation Instructions:

    1. The first step in installing this software is to download the file from this page. This file is an installation program that will step you through the installation process.
    2. After downloading this file, run it and follow the instructions on the setup dialogs.
