Product Training in the United States
Woodward and its authorized distributors offer theoretical and practical training on many Woodward products. Woodward standard and custom training courses are currently offered in several locations: California (Drake Controls), Colorado (Factory and Win-Marion), Delaware (Peaker Services), Florida (Governor Control Systems), Louisiana (Governor Control Systems), Michigan (Peaker Services), and Washington State (Governor Control Systems). Custom classes can be requested at your facilities.
Class Types
1. Standard Courses: Standard courses provide technical and application training over Turbine, Engine, and Generator controls. Courses vary from 2 to 5 days. To register for a Standard class,
a. Complete the Class Training Registration Form
b. Return to the Colorado Training Center (CustomerTrainingUSA@Woodward.com & IndustrialSupport@woodward.com) or the appropriate Distributor (see below).
2. Custom Training Courses: Custom training for specific controls, applications, and products can be requested. The custom training can be held at the customer’s location, Woodward factory, or Distributor training center.
a. Complete the Custom Training Request Form and
b. Return to the Colorado Training Center (CustomerTrainingUSA@Woodward.com & IndustrialSupport@woodward.com) or the appropriate Distributor (see below).
Training Class Information – Calendars and Registration forms
Standard Woodward training classes are held at several US location referenced below. Always register with the location you are wanting to attend. Registrations can be taken within 3 days of class, if seats are still available. Class confirmations will be sent out when payment is received, with additional information for the class 1 or 2 weeks prior to class.
Each location will provide a Training Calendar for the year.
